Style Guide: 3 Summer Trends To Dress Up and Down

Tuesday, December 4, 2018

What's the golden rule of any wardrobe? Versatility. If it's something I can wear more than one way, I'm in! In fact, I think this was my go-to sales pitch during my time working in retail, grabbing multiple accessories, shoes and jackets just to prove the outfit was a worthy investment.

Well, now I'm doing the same for you here; with a few of my favourite trends! Not that you need much convincing, the three outfits I'm about to break down from 32 Dresses are absolute staples for me this season.
But just in case you need a little more inspo, read on to see how I take my 3 favourite pieces from 32 Dresses and style each one in two completely different ways!

I know, I know. Shocker! But there's a reason I keep adding LWDs to my Summer collection. I swear, this one from 32 Dresses is like no other! The details are just divine; frills in all the right places, a square neckline and bow at the back. It would be rude not to!

To dress it up, I used gold hardware, a rounded clutch and a killer pair of heels!
For a day look, switch out the above for some slides, a rattan bag + a cute AF scrunchie and voila! You just transformed your look.

This one's been on my most-wanted list for such a long time, and finally I have the perfect silky slip skirt from 32 Dresses in my collection! Silk dresses and camis have been trending for a while now but my bet is that these midi skirts are about to blow up!

Why? They are the most versatile thing you can add to your wardrobe! Pair with a casual tee and some flats and you've got yourself an effortless cool-girl vibe or pair with something a little more dainty, like a lace slik cami and some stilettos and you're ready for drinks with the girls.

I went for leopard print because is there really another choice? It's timeless, a little playful and easy to pair with the rest of my wardrobe!

We've all got one. You know, the dress that seems perfect for every occasion? The one you reach for almost every time you get dressed. Well, this one from 32 Dresses is mine.

The best thing about these dresses is that you can so easily change them up, it's amazing what a pair of pointed heels and a belted waist can do. Or if you want to wear it to brunch; a pair of fresh white sneakers and a straw hat!

The key to this dress is the print, it's just enough! Not too busy and definitely not too boring. Oh and did I mention the neutral tones, beautiful sheer fabric and those frills?
